Kamryn sure loves her uncles, and they LOVE her! When she comes over they both yell, "Kami!" and scramble over each other to get to her. They are enjoying her more as she gets older, and starts doing more and more funny things--Evan especially. I am in for it when she gets to the stage where she repeats everything you say, because I know they will have her saying all kinds of weird things just to laugh at her!The other day when we headed over there Evan picked Kamryn up and she just settled right into the crook of his arm and sat with him for awhile. I thought it was so cute, I just had to take a picture. They sure love each other!
And here's Evan with his (and Grandpa's too!!) favorite girls, Shelby and Kamryn. Hanging out with Uncle E is the best! We're so glad we get to do it so often!

A Trip to Disneyland
It has become tradition in our family that after the afternoon Angels games that we all head over to Disneyland. This week we went over to Californiaventures, and spent a little time there.Grammy took Kamryn on the carousel they have there. It was very cute and all the animals were sea creatures. Kamryn got cozy on a sea lion, and had a blast sitting there "dancing" on it, with Grammy by her side.

The girls.
Kamryn is such a goofball! She is certainly full of personality, and we love it! She had a grand ol' time sitting on the sealion, until it started to move. That made her a little nervous, and she insisted that Grammy hold her for the remainder of the ride.
After the ride, Grammy took Kam over to splash around a little bit in the water, which she LOVED!
It was certainly warm enough to warrant a little time by the water, and was also a nice activity to do while we waited for the older kids to get off their rides.
There's Matt with his arms up ready for the roller coaster. Dad saw him talking to the kid next to him in line, and wasn't surprised that they ended up sitting next to each other. Matt makes friends everywhere he goes! Like Dad would say of Spongebob, Matt is just a "happy soul."
Here's Matt with his sought after turkey leg. He did a pretty good job finishing it off, too! It was a wonderful, relaxing day, and we're looking forward to many more just like it!

Our Granddaughter Turned One!
Last weekend our granddaughter, Kamryn, turned one year old! Time has flown by, and we can't believe we've had her for a year already. We all got together to celebrate with her, and had a great time. This was the cake. So cute, and so yummy!
Here's the birthday girl in her birthday outfit. She was pretty impressed with the grass skirt!

Evan's High School Graduation
Thursday, June 5th at 7:00 pm Evan graduated from Diamond Bar High School. A bunch of us were there to celebrate with him, and tell him how proud we were of him. The shiny purple robes are just about the UGLIEST things on the planet, and luckily for Mom and Dad you have to order a new one EVERY YEAR, you can't just re use the ones you already have. This means that Evan's shiny purple robe will now be added to the collection of putrid purple robes accumulating in Mom's closet. Three down, two to go. Tracey and Kelsey were thinking that once Matt graduates, we can all pull out our nasty purple robes, and use them for that years Christmas pictures. "The California Raisins wish you a Merry Christmas..." I can see it now...Here are Mom and Evan after his graduation. He was so modest as we were all oohing and aahing over him, and telling him how proud we were of him, but I think deep down he liked it :)
Evan and Dad. As for their smiles--like father, like son.

Makenna's 8th Grade Graduation
On Thursday June 5th at 9:00 am Makenna graduated from Chaparral Middle School. She is officially a 9th grader now at Diamond Bar High School, and she is really excited!Tracey flew in to participate in all the Christ family festivities this week, the first one being Kenna's graduation. Kamryn remembered her right away, even though she's been gone for a while at school, and they picked up where they left off. Tracey couldn't believe how much bigger Kamryn seemed in only a few weeks.

All of us who attended the first graduation of the day. Tracey, Kamryn, Dad, Makenna, Mom, and Kelsey. We should also mention during this time Matt was completing his last day of 5th grade, and elementary school. Way to go Makenna and Matt! Here's to our newest high schooler, and middle schooler!

Makenna's Promotion Dance
The best part of being in 8th grade (for the girls at least), is the 8th Grade Promotion Dance. It is the equivalent of the middle school's "prom" and the Christ girls always looked forward to the opportunity to get dressed up.
Here are Makenna and Dad before she headed out for the night.

Makenna looked great, and she had a great time. It was a great way to kick off the last week of school festivities, before she was officially a HIGH SCHOOLER!!
